ELODIA VILLAFUERTE DE DIAZ
EDINBURG - Elodia Villafuerte De Diaz, 78, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025, at Edinburg Regional Medical Center.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Cirilo Diaz.
Mrs. Diaz is survived by her eight children, Yolanda (Arnulfo) De La Rosa, Rafael Gallegos, Alma (Cipriano) De La Rosa, Maria Jackie De La Rosa, Gilberto (Alicia) Fonseca, Omar Diaz, Rolando Diaz, Cirilo Diaz; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; three siblings, Carolina Villafuerte, Susana Villafuerte, and Raquel Villafuerte.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a 6 p.m. rosary Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Home, 208 E. Canton in Edinburg. Funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Edinburg. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg.
Funeral services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home in Edinburg.
