Elsa Fuentes

Elsa Fuentes, 59, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Daughter of Maria L. Carrasquillo of Stoughton and the late Marcelo Fuentes, she was born and raised in Puerto Rico before moving to Boston. She was a graduate of Boston English High School and Chamberlayne Junior College in Boston. She resided in Stoughton for the past 7 years. Elsa was a supervisor for the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, where she worked for 36 years before retiring in October of 2021. In her free time, she was very active at the Victory Church in Sharon. Elsa is survived by her son, Aviel Y. Fuentes of Stoughton, as well as her siblings, Edna Ayuso of Sharon, Eddy Fuentes of Boston and Edwin Carrasquillo of Brighton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held from the Victory Church, 67 High Plain Street, Sharon on Tuesday, February 8 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours will be held at Victory Church on Monday from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsa's memory may be made to Victory Church, 67 High Plain Street, Sharon, MA 02067.
