In Loving Memory of Else H. Lauterbach (née Euskirchen)Passed away peacefully at the age of 90

With deep sorrow and profound gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of Else H. Lauterbach, who departed this life peacefully at the age of 90. Born to the late Heinrich and Erna Euskirchen (née Ortmann), Else was a woman of unwavering faith, boundless generosity, and quiet strength.

She was the loving mother of Marita (Robert) Hollander, whose lives were deeply enriched by her wisdom, warmth, and devotion. Else was also a cherished sister to the late Paula (Helmut) Sacht, the late Karl-Heinz Euskirchen, the late Hermann Euskirchen, the late Martin Euskirchen, and the late Adolf Euskirchen. She is survived by her brother-in-law Horst (Karola) Lauterbach and family, who held a special place in her heart. Her legacy continues through many beloved nieces, nephews, and dear friends who were blessed to know her.

Else found joy and purpose in serving others. She sang with passion in the church choir, lovingly decorated the altar, and prepared countless meals for family gatherings and church fellowships. Her hands were rarely still from knitting, sewing, and crafting with care—all done for the Glory of God, whom she served with a humble and joyful heart.

Her life was a testament to grace, kindness, and faith. She will be remembered not only for her talents and service but for the love she gave so freely and the light she brought into the lives of those around her.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The American Kantorei:“We offer the music of Johann Sebastian Bach in sacred spaces to the glory of God and for the nurture of our neighbor.”

Checks can be mailed to: PO Box 631 Chesterfield, MO 63006

May she rest in eternal peace.
