Elsie M. Kuchinski, age 83, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Pine Haven Christian Communities.

She was born in Goodman, WI on May 7, 1941, to the late Theodore and Elsie (Doll) Schjoth. She graduated from Goodman High School. On September 5, 1959, Elsie married Renald “Lee” Kuchinski in Goodman, WI and relocated to Sheboygan in 1968. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2008.

Elsie enjoyed cooking, watching the Green Bay Packers, the outdoors while walking her dogs, traveling with her husband, tending to her flower gardens, and spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed.

Elsie is survived by her sons, David (Anne-Marie), Brian (Monica), Doug (Donna) and Steve (Melissa); grandchildren, Alexandria (Shane), Zachary (Brooke), Chelsea (Harrison), Eric, Gretchen, Nathan, Sarah (Trevor), Jonathan (Brielle), Kennedy, and Reid; great-grandchildren, Avery, Everly, Lawson, Delaney, Kannon, and Calahan; a sister, Barbara Lundin; sisters-in-law, Stella Schjoth and Helen Kuchinski; nieces, nephews, other family and friends further survive.

Along with her parents and husband, Elsie was preceded in death by an infant sister, Elaine; siblings, Delores (Robert) Krueger, Lorraine (Bob Johnson) Edelbeck, Ted (Pat) Schjoth and Raymond Schjoth; brothers-in-law, Marvin Lundin, Russell (Janice) Hawley and Lawrence Kuchinski.

A Funeral Service for Elsie will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Rd in Howards Grove, WI., with Chaplain Joseph Zenk officiating. Family will greet visitors at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Elsie will be laid to rest next to her husband Lee at Sunrise Memorial Gardens in Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Elsie’s name.

The family would like to thank the staff at both Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and Pine Haven Christian Communities for the excellent care shown to Elsie.
