Minister Elsie L. Little daughter of the late John L. Daniels and Ellen S. Daniels was born on January 12, 1938, in Robersonville, NC. She departed this life on July 10, 2025, taking the journey to be with her Heavenly Father.
She attended school in North Carolina, relocating to Philadelphia, PA, with her late husband Charlie J. House, Jr. She relocated to Newark, NJ where she later in life met and married Lewis T. Little.
Elsie was a hard worker, she attended Red Cross teaching center in Newark, NJ for Nursing Assistant. After receiving her certificate, she worked as a Nursing Assistant at Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ until her retirement.
In 1973, she became a member of the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ in Newark, NJ, under the leadership of her late brother Bishop Levy Daniels. Minister Little received Christ into her life and served faithfully, willingly and obediently under her pastor. She served as President of Pray Band, President of Pastor Aid, in charge of Evening Pray and assistant to the current Pastor Margaret Daniels.
Elsie was preceded in death by three loving daughters, Elaine, Michelle & Monagail House; one grandson, Darquell Daniels; three siblings, Erma Dell Wright, Curtis Daniels, Bishop Levy Daniels.
Her passing leaves a void for those she loved and cherished, four daughters, Gwendolyn & Wali Kellam (Alicia) from Maplewood, NJ, Brenda Daniels (Anthony & Sahir) from Linden, NJ, Yvonne & Hugh Phillips (Naim, Matthew & Jacquiese) from Lakehurst, NJ, Jackie Ashford (Samir and Regina) from Old Bridge, NJ, Marquis and Clarence (sons of the late Monagail House), Altariq (son of the late Elaine House); one sister, Jameelah & Frank from Deltona, FL; one sister-in law, Pastor Margaret Daniels from East Orange, NJ; twenty one great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
