Elton Lee Christoph, age 55, was a man remembered for his kind spirit, his lifelong sense of humor, and deep love for his family. On the morning of Tuesday, June 24, 2025, his earthly journey came to a close, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and lasting memories. A graveside service celebrating his life will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, at Hendrick Cemetery in Rusk, beginning at 10:00 AM. Bro. Jim Bob Gunnels and Bro. Daryl Bennett will officiate the service.
Elton was born in Conroe, Texas, on August 18, 1969, to Raymond Christoph and Ernestene Brent Christoph. Elton loved to fish and had a passion for working on old cars-interests that reflected both his patience and his skill with his hands. He grew into a man of many talents, but his greatest pride came from life on the road as a truck driver-a profession he was passionate about. More than anything, Elton loved and valued his family and friends. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and a faithful friend to many.
Elton is preceded by his Grandparents, Earnest & Lora Brent; Grandparents, Arlie & Ruby Christoph; Father, Raymond Elton Christoph; Mother, Ernestene "Teeny" Bennett; Brother-in-law, Tom Sherrod; and several cherished aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his Spouse, Sadie Duncan; Daughter, Amber Christoph; Daughter, Holly Dawn Warren and Son-in-law Terry Warren; Son, Kevin Christoph; Daughter, Ashley Christoph; Sister, Kim Sherrod; Brother, Raymond Christoph; Brother, William Bennett; Sister, De'An Bennett; Granddaughter, Genesis Christoph; Grandson, Alejandro Rodriguez; Granddaughter, Rylie Rodriguez; Grandson, Josiah Durham; Granddaughter, Ember White; Step-Children, Billy, Lyric, and Kelly Duncan; as well as many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Alejandro Rodriguez, Gauge Low, Sy Low, Zayden Leediker, Coe Leediker, and Avery Leediker.
Floral contributions may be sent to Boren-Conner Funeral Home in Bullard, Texas.
