Born on June 17, 1953, in Zacatecas, Mexico, she later made her home in Chicago, IL, where she passed away surrounded by the love of her family. A devoted wife to Alfredo Serna and beloved mother to Jose, Araceli, Rodolfo, Edith, and Jennifer, Elvia was known for her selflessness, unwavering faith, and the deep love she poured into her family. Her life was a reflection of Catholic values-kindness, compassion, and service-shining as a guiding light to all who knew her.
