Elvira Rondon Machado, edad 87, falleció pacíficamente en su casa rodeada de sus seres queridos el 2 de Noviembre de 2023. Elvira nació en Honda, Colombia, de sus padres, Diógenes y Rosabel Rondón Machado, el 3 de Noviembre de 1935. A Elvira le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Diogenes y Rosabel Rondon Machado, su esposo Jorge Vasquez, hermana Miriam Rondon, y su hermano Diogenes Rondon. A ella le sobrevive su hermana Ines Rondon, hermana Dora Rondon, hermano Jairo Rondon, hija Herlinda Lilliana (Juan) Vazques, hijo Jorge (Francia) Vasquez, hija Consuelo (Antonio) Muñoz, hija Elvira (Paul) Hostettler, y hijo Martin Vasquez. Elvira Tambien le sobreviven sus nietos: Leonardo, Felipe, Jorge, Jessica, Sandra, Juan, Nicky, and Johanna. Elvira también se despide de sus 14 bisnietos, y dos tataranietos. La extrañaremos mucho.

Se decía que Elvira Rondón Machado fue una amorosa esposa, madre, abuela y amiga de todos los que tuvieron el placer de conocerla. Era una mujer feliz a la que nunca le sobraba ni un gramo de ira. Amaba la vida y todos los desafíos que la acompañaban. La música era una de sus muchas pasiones, cantar y bailar le traían mucha alegría. Le encantaban las fiestas con su familia y amigos y poder pasar tiempo y cocinar para ellos.

Se llevará a cabo un velorio en Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center el Sábado 4 de Noviembre de 2023, de 10AM hasta 2PM. El funeral comenzará puntualmente a las 2PM.

Puede que Elvira ya no esté físicamente presente con nosotros, pero su espíritu seguirá viviendo en los corazones de todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla. Que su alma encuentre la paz eterna y que su recuerdo nos traiga para siempre calidez, consuelo e inspiración a todos.

Elvira Rondon Machado, age 87, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on November 2nd, 2023. Elvira was born in Honda, Columbia to her parents, Diogenes and Rosabel Rondon Machado, on November 3rd, 1935. Elvira is preceded in death by her parents, Diogenes and Rosabel Rondon Machado, her husband Jorge Vasquez, sister Miriam Rondon, and her brother Diogenes Rondon. She is survived by her sister Ines Rondon, sister Dora Rondon, brother Jairo Rondon, daughter Herlinda Lilliana (Juan) Vazques, son Jorge (Francia) Vasquez, daughter Consuelo (Antonio) Muñoz, daughter Elvira (Paul) Hostettler, and son Martin Vasquez. Elvira is also survived by her grandchildren: Leonardo, Felipe, Jorge, Jessica, Sandra, Juan, Nicky, and Johanna. Elvira also says goodbye to 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Elvira Rondon Machado was said to have been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was a happy woman who never had an ounce of anger to spare. She loved life and all the challenges that came along with it. Music was one of her many passions, singing and dancing brought her much joy. She loved parties with her family and friends and being able to spend time and cook for them.

A visitation will be held at Alexander Funeral Home and Cremation Center on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, from 10AM until 2PM. A funeral service will start promptly at 2pm.

Elvira may no longer be physically present with us, but her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. May her soul find eternal peace, and her memory forever bring warmth, comfort, and inspiration to us all.
