Emerson Bailey Obituary
Emerson was born May 9, 1958, in Keshena, a son of the late Emerson Sr and Colleen (Huff) Bailey. Emerson graduated from Shawano High School and later attended Trade School for electronics and welding. He enjoyed working on cars, playing his guitar, and nature.
Survivors include his siblings, Jeanine (Ron) Brown of Washington, Clifford Church of Bowler, Mary Ann Bailey-Webster of Keshena, Faron Bailey of Green Bay, Jeff (Georgie) Bailey of Keshena, Terrence Bailey of Keshena, Dawn Webster of Keshena, Sterling (Dora) Bailey of Keshena, Roni Bailey of Keshena, and Lizette Bailey-O'Kimosh of Keshena; over fifty nieces and nephews; 20 great-nieces; and 20 great-nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Dewey Church Sr, Thomas Bailey, and Donald Bailey; two sisters, Bridgette Grueb and Renee Leroy; and one brother in infancy, Lydon John Bailey.
Traditional Native Services for Emerson will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the Lizette Bailey-O'Kimosh residence, N1490 Mallard Bay Road, Keshena. Interment will be in the Menominee Nation Cemetery, Middle Village. Visitation will begin at the Lizette Bailey-O'kimosh residence after 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, and continue until the time of service on Monday.
