Emerson Galen Deardorff, 76, South Mud Lake, Indiana, passed away on November 1, 2025, at his residence.
Born October 19, 1949, in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of Ralph Richard and Agnes Fern (Markley) Deardorff.
Emerson graduated from Maconaquah High School and later retired from Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo. He was a United States Army veteran having served in Viet Nam.
Survivors include his brothers, John Deardorff, Bunker Hill; Mike Deardorff, Lafayette; and Kerry (Vicki) Deardorff; Mexico; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Kenneth Eugene and Richard Keith Deardorff; and one sister, Janet Sue Layton.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held.
McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.
