It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Emilia Maffia. She went to the Lord Jesus peacefully on February 21, 2025. Emily was a very proud Mom for her one and only Son Joseph Shea & his wife Lauren and her grandchildren Riley, Aubrey & Joseph Jr. Her husband Antonio also known as Butch always by her side helping her each and every day. Loving Sister to five of us siblings calling each and every one of us daily just to make sure we were all OK. That’s just a type of person Emily was. She was also a caring and loving Aunt to many, a very loving Niece always calling to check in. Emily’s favorite passion was always singing in the past. She loved to sing and she was also known for writing many of her own beautiful songs always to be remembered, especially the song never making a left turn! Whoever knows Emily, as well as we all do knows exactly what songs she wrote, and how beautiful she sang. Always to be remembered in our heart and soul never to be forgotten not a moment in time we all love her very much and always will be in our hearts. May she rest in peace in the hands of God.
