Emily May Busser

Emily May Busser, 25, a resident of the Gaston community passed away on December 25, 2025 at her home.

Emily was born on December 3, 2000 in Hillsboro, OR. She was the youngest of three children born to Robert Garrett and Melissa Hathaway. She lived in Cornelius and then Vernonia until the age of twelve when her family moved to Gaston, OR Emily attended Both Forest Grove High School and Gaston High School.

She met her future husband, Creek Busser, through her cousins. They began dating and courted for seven years, they married on August 10, 2024 at their home in Gaston.

Emily worked as a housekeeper most all her working life working for (name here). She enjoyed camping, campfires and the outdoors. She was always up for adventure, long drives in the car, exploring the mountains or the Coast where her favorite past times. Emily never knew a stranger, was always very positive and supportive to her family and friends. She loved the snow, watching movies, baking and singing.

She is survived by her loving husband, Creek, a daughter, Charlie, her parents Robert and Melissa both of Gaston, her grandparents, Mark Hathaway, Jerrie and Danny Garrett, two siblings, Danny Garret and Faith Garrett, and many relatives.
