My heart is just so broken today.
Addiction has taken my baby away.
Alcohol I hate you, and I'm NOT okay.
I'm consumed with grief, don't know what to say.
Thank you for the love from friends far away
If I do not answer you back today,
It's only the words that I lack to say.
Your messages ring so loud and so clear
It's evident that so many loved her so dear.
I'll cherish my memories of good times we had.
This heartbreaking saga is just so very sad.
Her issues ran deep, she was hurting inside
She's finally at peace, my angel flies high
A beautiful soul she just couldn't hide and now she's an angel right by our side
She loved music and children and animals too.
Her dear sweet dog Walter is now suffering too.
She touched the lives of the old and the young.
Her love was endless; her praises I've sung.
She loved games and laughter and joking around.
She loved family and friends, her love was abound.
She loved helping those who were down and in need.
Her caring compassion helped her succeed.
She loved being creative and painting and art.
It was her passion; came right from her heart.
I'm choosing to have a small family gathering now, to celebrate Emily, the girl we loved and how.
Please respect the choices I have made and know we'll all be together some day.
For now remember the good times and laughter too
