Emily Anne Somers of Pasadena, CA, (formerly of Piedmont, CA), at age 38, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2024 from a rare form of carcinoma. Emily is survived by her beloved husband of 4 1/2 years Geordie Robinson, her loving and beloved parents Diana (Christman) and Alvin Somers of Rancho, Murieta, CA, and parents-in-law Wendy McCue and Terrence Robinson, grandmother Bobbie Noonan and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Tess Robinson and Byron Smith, all of Australia.
Emily was greatly loved and admired by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A graduate of Piedmont High School and UC Davis, with Highest Honors. Emily also studied Drama at Oxford University. Emily enjoyed a much too brief but successful career in the Entertainment industry as an outstanding actor in film and television and as a film producer and playwright. At the time of her passing, Emily was an executive with Entertainment.net Emily and Geordie are forever grateful to those family members and friends who contributed to the GoFundMe effort.
Emily will forever be remembered for her unending love, warmth, caring, inspiration, intelligence, creativity, energy, sense of humor and inclusiveness. A private family graveside service was held at East Lawn Cemetery in East Sacramento on May 19, 2024. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in memory of Emily may be made to the charity of your choice.
