Emma Hoffman Obituary
A memorial service will be held on September 14, 2024 between the hours of 1:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M. at the York Township Fire Department (Goodwill Fire Department #1).
Emma was born in York, Pennsylvania to late Charles R. Harris Sr. and Margaret S. Demmitt Harris. She attended school at Central York High School.
Emma is preceded by her husband Glen Hoffman and Sister Violet Harris Abbott.
Emma is survived by her son Charles Samuel Hoffman Parkville Maryland and his fiancé Aimee Semler, Grandson Charles Samuel Hoffman Jr., and siblings Charles Harris of North York Pennsylvania and his wife Jill Harris, George Harris of York Haven Pennsylvania and his wife Brenda Harris, Tracie Harris of Mt. Wolf Pennsylvania and his partner Joyce Sheaffer, Linda Harris of Columbia Pennsylvania, Mildred McGuigan of Emigsville, Pennsylvania and her husband Shawn McGuigan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Emma was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and wife. Emma was passionate about spending her free time traveling the world. Emma's favorite destination was Hawaii. Emma was a dedicated worker for Kelly Transit and volunteer for Harvest of Blessings. Emma was a lifetime member of the Liberty Social Club.

Emma and I go way back. She was my friend first, then my sister in law. She was so funny, so giving, so helpful and friendly. I'd like to think Glen was waiting for you to arrive. I will miss you.
