Ennis was born March 10, 1928 in Standardsville, VA, a son of the late Martin Lam and Mary Shifflett Lam.
He married Ethel M. Jenkins August 26, 1964 in Hagerstown, MD. Before retirement, he worked for Crown Cork and Seal.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Along with his loving wife, Ennis was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
The family will receive friends Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Pastor Kyle Sheeley officiating.
Entombment will be private and Shenandoah Memorial Park at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Blue Ridge Hospice at 333 W Cork Street Winchester, VA 22601.
