Enos Chun-Hei Lui (age 27) passed away in Provo, Utah on February 27, 2025. Enos was born to Mickey and Sara Lui on February 23, 1998 in
Salt Lake City, Utah, at the University of Utah Hospital. Known affectionately as Enos, Chun, Jun, Chun-Hei, and Chun Chun, his quiet and thoughtful manner was evident from a young age. Enos attended Renaissance Academy, Willowcreek Middle School, and the Utah County Academy for Sciences in Orem, where he also earned an associate's degree from Utah Valley University. Enos was a quiet and dedicated leader and achieved his Eagle Scout Award before completing high school, leading a project to digitize records at a local cemetery.
Following high school, Enos served a two-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to Vancouver, Canada, where he ministered in Mandarin Chinese. Upon his return, he pursued and completed his bachelor's degree in Finance at Utah Valley University, distinguishing himself as an exceptional honors student.
Enos possessed a refined palate and an abiding love for food. He relished cooking and sampling a variety of cuisines, especially Korean dishes, and had mastered cooking the perfect steak. His culinary adventures extended to frequent travels with family and friends to places like South Korea, Japan, China, Canada, and various U.S. cities. Enos was the go-to expert on the best local eateries, often enjoying $1 oysters on Friday evenings from Sprouts.
Professionally, Enos began his career as a financial analyst at Utah Community Credit Union (UCCU) in Provo. He later pursued a master's degree in Information Systems from the University of Utah and subsequently worked as a Cybersecurity Analyst for Arctic Wolf in Pleasant Grove, where he specialized in triaging incidents for business clients and was known for delivering excellent service.
Enos had a wide range of hobbies. He enjoyed playing video games, watching TV shows, and reading web novels. He also enjoyed outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, rollerblading, and ice-skating (both indoor and outdoor skating). When he wasn't pursuing his hobbies, he was home with his cat, Mia, that he adored.
Known for his quiet demonstrations of service, Enos often volunteered to drive on road trips, cooked birthday meals, and always made sure to have extra food on hand for others. Whether accompanying friends on adventures or offering unsolicited help, his actions spoke louder than words. Enos's legacy of unspoken love and service deeply touched his family and friends and will be profoundly missed.
