Enrique Guzman Obituary
Rosary and Visitation: 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2025, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at St. Jude Catholic Church; followed by interment at Greenwood Memorial Park. Reception: 12 - 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, in the Live Oak Room at Greenwood, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
Born on September 27, 1934, in Pharr, Texas, Enrique was a man of great character, wisdom, and warmth. Enrique served proudly in the U.S. Air Force prior to beginning his life-long career as a Civil Engineer. He was a faithful and generous parishioner at several Catholic churches throughout his life, always guided by his strong faith and love for others.
Enrique was preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Juana Guzman; his brother, José Pablo Guzmán; and his sisters, Maria Guadalupe Guzman-Casares and Eriberta "Betty" Cruz Medrano.
He is survived by his wife, Erma Guzman, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they raised seven children, embraced two son-in-laws, two daughter-in-laws who, along with 24 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, were the pride and joy of his life. Enrique is also survived by his brothers, Jesus Eliodoro Guzmán and wife, Elena, José David Guzman and wife, Frances, and Francisco Javier Guzmán, who shared a lifelong bond of love and camaraderie.
He was blessed to travel the world with his family, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. His legacy of kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire all who knew him. Enrique will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in peace, surrounded by eternal love.

Was looking through Google to see if I could find some old acquaintances and came across the news on Enrique. I knew Enrique during our college years. He went by Enrique, Henry or Jack. I didn't know him for a long time but for that short time I found him to be a great guy which is why to this day I would think of him and wonder how he was doing. I still have and cherish the congratulatory card he sent Adele and I on our marriage. The last time I saw him and wife, Erma, was when he was working with the Corp of Engineers in Galveston. Last I heard he had moved to the Dallas area.
I was happy to see he had a full life surrounded by a large caring family. Sorry for your loss. He will be missed.
