Eric Benson Obituary
Eric was born on January 12, 1949 to the late Benn and Elizabeth (Ford) Benson in Peoria, IL. He married Susan Kuykendall in 1983 in Washington, IL. She survives.
He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Mark) Neuber of Fort Worth, TX; his step sister, Barb D'alby; his step son, Benjamin (Tiffany) Johnson; his granddaughters, Rebecca and Nora Johnson; and his nieces and nephew, Elise Neuber of Fort Worth, TX, Laniah Neuber of Washington, D.C., and Matthew Neuber of Fort Worth, TX.
Eric enjoyed making pottery at home in his spare time. He loved building RC airplanes and flying them as well. Eric will be dearly missed by those he loved most.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to T.A.P.S No Kill Animal Shelter in Pekin, IL.
Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Eric was a friend who joined several of us during the week for coffee. He was a friend of a friend I had the fortune to get to know well. I learned from Eric about pottery making and have a couple of bowls made by him. He will be missed. My deepest sympathy is go out to the family.
