Eric Roger Davidson

Mr. Eric Roger Davidson, age 81, of Honaker, Virginia passed away Saturday (January 18, 2025) in an Abingdon, Virginia hospital. He was born August 22, 1943 in West Virginia and had lived most of his life in the southwest Virginia area. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ and had formerly been employed as a truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and watching Western movies, but most of all spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his his wife, Clara Johnson Davidson; father, Joe Davidson; his mother, Willie Pearl Blevins Davidson Williams; and his step-father, Frank Williams.
Survivors include two sons, Scotty Davidson and wife, Pamela, and Rodney Davidson and wife, Crystal; six grandchildren, Eric Davidson and wife, Brittany, Preston Davidson, Azure Fields, Abigail Davidson, Zachary Brooks, and Amber Davidson; six great-grandchildren, Cameron Hubbard, Tucker Davidson, Bennett Davidson, Levi Gross, Azraella Leonard, and Kaci Richardson; sister, Frankie "Nancy" Saunders and husband, Terry; and special cousin, Jack Hudson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday in the Honaker Funeral Home Chapel, Honaker, Virginia with Rev. Wayne Hubbard officiating. Interment will follow in Ketron Memorial Gardens at Lebanon, Virginia,
Members of Cleveland Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 – 1 PM at the funeral home.
