Eric Green Obituary
Eric Kevin Green, 47, of Buchanan passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Corewell Health – Meijer Heart, Grand Rapids.
A memorial service will be held 11 AM on Monday, November 3, 2025 at Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman, MI 49106 with Pastor Jesse Knox officiating. Friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Humane Society of SW Michigan, 5400 S Niles Rd, Saint Joseph, MI 49085. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Eric was born on January 7, 1978 in St. Joseph the son of Keith and Marty (Smith) Green. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Stevensville, MI, and was a graduate of Lakeshore High School. Eric served the Village of Berrien Springs for many years as Street Superintendent. He enjoyed being with family and friends. Although it may have appeared that he had a rough and tough exterior, deep down inside, Eric was a kind and caring man.
Survivors include his parents, Keith and Marty Green, brothers: Jason (Brook) Green and Cory (Sarah) Green; along with four nieces, a nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandparents: Charles and Elizabeth Green, Ralph and Helene Smith; uncles: Richard Smith and Kevin Green; and an aunt, Danita Smith.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman.
