Eric Russell Milbeck of Lubbock passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the age of 28.  He was born October 7, 1984 in Denison, Texas to Richard and Janie (Juarez) Milbeck.  Eric worked as a welder and was a member of Church on the Rock. He was very fun-loving and found joy in entertaining his friends and family.  Eric also enjoyed playing with his children, cooking, going to the lake and taking the kids to the pool.  He loved watching movies and hardly ever missed a chance to watch his son Alec play baseball.

Those left to cherish his memory are his life partner, Tarah Trout; two sons, Alec Smith and Aric Richard Milbeck; two daughters, Alysah Smith and Addison Marae Milbeck; parents, Richard and Janie Milbeck; maternal grandmother, Sue; two brothers, Brandon Milbeck and wife Vanessa and Bradley Milbeck and wife Yvette; two sisters, Brandy Salinas and husband Michael and Jennifer Milbeck and life partner Chris Martin; 11 nieces and nephews; and many friends who loved him dearly.

Eric was preceded in death by one grandmother, Esther Goldschmidt; grandfather, Steve Juarez; and aunt, Francis Juarez.

A prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Combest Family Memorial Chapel.  Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 15, 2013 at Church on the Rock with interment to follow at Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park.
