Eric M. Perez Jr.

Eric M. Perez, Jr., affectionately known as Eddy to his friends and family, passed away on January 1, 2026, in Glassboro, NJ, at the age of 35. Born on August 26, 1990, in Philadelphia, PA, Eddy was a vibrant soul whose laughter and creativity left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Eddy was the beloved son of Eric Perez, Sr. and the late Angelina Hamill-Perez, who preceded him in death just a few weeks prior on December 8, 2025. He was a cherished brother to Cheyenne, Mickayla, Miguel, LeeSandra, Maribel, Laura, Damari, John Carlos, and Yandel. Eddy's legacy continues through his adored children, Layla, Selena, and Virgal, who felt their father's boundless love and affection. His loving nature was evident in the way he cared for his children and the warmth he extended to his many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Eddy's life was enriched by his grandparents, Louann & Keith Hamill and Manuel & Sylvia Perez. Despite the challenges he faced, Eddy's resilience and spirit remained unshaken. He fought until the very end.

Eddy's passion for drawing, reading comic books, and rapping highlighted his creative spirit. Eddy's love for making people laugh was contagious, and his interest in history and escape rooms reflected his intellectual curiosity and love for adventure.

Eddy's life was a testament to the power of love, humor, and creativity. Those who knew Eddy will remember him as a loving father, strong brother, a loyal friend, and a man who could always be counted on to bring joy and laughter into their lives.

As we bid farewell to Eddy, we celebrate the time we were fortunate to share with him. His memory will continue to inspire and comfort us. Eddy's departure from this world was too soon and he will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

A visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ, from 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM with his service immediately following at 1:30 PM.
