Eric was born February 23, 1981, in Alma, the son of Roger and Dorene (Wymer) Rockafellow. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 2000. He then attended the University of Northwestern Ohio and earned an associate's degree as a diesel technician. Eric was currently employed as a corrections officer at the Central Michigan Correctional Facility in St. Louis. He enjoyed gaming, playing farm simulators and hunting.
He is survived by his wife Chrystal, biological children Bradley, Hailey, Ainsley, parents Roger and Dorene, grandmother Janice Urie, brother Tony Rockafellow, and a large extended family.
Eric was preceded in death by his wife Deann in 2018, paternal grandparents and maternal grandfather.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 23, 2024, at 1 pm at the Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home, Alma with Pastor Staci Biagina officiating. Interment will follow in Pritchard Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 11 am until time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rockafellow family to help with Ainsley's future. Eric and I dated for 4 years he is missed by me everyday. Eric was a great dad. He loved the outdoors and being around family. He is missed by many loved by all.
