Eric W. Yager, a bright light in the lives of many, left this earth to be with His Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at the age of 40 in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born on September 21, 1984, Eric was the cherished son of Anna (Cashman) Priddy and Danny Lee Yager, Sr., who preceded him in death alongside his beloved grandmother, Toyce Cashman. Eric's warmth and passion for life made him an unforgettable son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Known for his outgoing spirit and friendly demeanor, Eric had a natural gift for connecting with others. He was never one to shy away from a conversation and made friends wherever he went. His love for life was evident in the simple joys he cherished during his free time—coloring, working on cars, and endlessly exploring the universe through videos on YouTube. He had a genuine thirst for knowledge and took great delight in sharing what he learned about galaxies with anyone willing to listen.
Family meant the world to Eric. He treasured every moment spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will forever be cherished. He leaves behind his devoted mother, Anna (Jeff) Priddy; his brother, Danny Yager, II; a caring grandfather, H.W. Cashman; step-sister, Amanda (John) Priddy; his adorable niece, Sophia Yager; along with a wealth of extended family and friends who will hold Eric’s memory close to their hearts.
A visitation to honor Eric's life will take place on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel.
The family asks that any donations made in honor of Eric's life be made to the family.
Though he may be gone, the love that Eric shared and the joy he brought into the lives of so many will never be forgotten.
