Erick Ngai Atkinson was born on 10/26/1969 in Santa Clara Ca.
As a kid that loved California air, in 1974 he moved to Fairfax Va with his parents Booker T Atkinson and Wilhelmina S Atkinson and sister Laureatha M Atkinson. Erick Atkinson attended and graduated from Fairfax high school in 1987 as a member of the marching band in which he played the saxophonist.
After graduating from high school, he made the decision to join the military army where he traveled to Germany and served in the Desert Strom War. After coming out of the war, Erick enjoyed his life by playing soccer and loving the joy of electronics also the love for web design. His best time was Sunday football where he sat with his family cheering for the Dallas Cowboys to win or lose.
On 6/22/2025 Erick Atkinson peacefully passed away in Arlington Va. He is preceded in death by parents Booker T Atkinson and Wihelmina S Atkinson. He leaves behind his son Elijah Xaxier, sister Lauretha Atkinson, nieces Lacretia (Ricardo) and Kayla Washington (Queen Ivy), nephew Richard D Washington (Dalilah), host of aunts, uncles, and extended family and friends.
The homegoing service will be Jul 9th at 10:30 am at Ames Funeral home. Intermittent Quantico Memorial ceremony. Thank you from Laureatha M Atkinson and family.
