Tinmouth- Erin Betty Allen, 58, of Tinmouth, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at her residence.
She was born in Rutland on January 11, 1967, the daughter of Richard and Claudia (Smith) Horton.
Erin graduated from Mill River Union High School in 1985.
She married Kevin Allen on August 20, 1999.
She had been employed as an office manager for Kalow Technologies for many years.
Erin liked to spend time with family and her dog, and enjoyed cooking, camping, and snowmobiling.
She is survived by her husband of Tinmouth, Shawn Horton of Wallingford; 5 sisters, Judith Rodriguez of Dade County, Fla., Rebecca Frye of Falmouth, Mass., Tracy Horton of Barre, Pippa Vurganov of Abingdon, Md., and Nicole Keyes of Wells.
Friends may call from 4 to 6 PM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at the Wallingford Aldous Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Rutland County Humane Society, 765 Stevens Road, Pittsford, Vermont,05763.
