Erin Storey Gunter

Erin Storey Gunter, 45, of Leesville, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024. Erin was born in Columbia, SC, a daughter of Betty Quattlebaum Storey and the late Dennis Storey, Jr. She was a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Erin could light up a room with her smile and bring joy with her laughter. She will be remembered for her beautiful soul, her amazing personality, and her ability to bring joy to everyone around her. Erin touched all of our lives with grace and beauty.

Surviving are her mother; sisters, Denise Williams and Cathy Storey Currie; along with many nieces and nephews who she loved as if they were her own. She is also survived by her dog, Luna; cat, Reaper; and a very special friend, Scott Lane.

The funeral service for Erin will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 1st, at Milton Shealy Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Storey Pond Family Cemetery, 275 Quattlebaum Road, Leesville, SC, 29070. The Rev. Donnie Kirk will officiate. Active pallbearers will be: Ryan Currie, Mark Allen, Bryson Asbill, Sam Williams, Lee McCullough and Bryan Womack. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 2:00 until 3:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
