Erlene Cordle, age 96, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025 at her residence in London, OH. Erlene was a dedicated and caring mother who always took care of her family and had the sharpest and most amazing memory, remembering even the smallest details from years ago. She was a longtime and devoted employee of Big Bear, never missing a day or calling off sick. Graduate of Hilliard High School. Attended Spring Fork United Baptist Church and she enjoyed her time with the Glenwood United Methodist Women's Group. She will be dearly missed. Preceded in death by, husband, James, who passed away in 1967, parents, Oscar and June Evans, children, Sandy Stephens and Mark Cordle, granddaughter, Kristen Hanson, brother, Adrian Evans, sister, Jewell Jenkins. Survived by, children, Peggy Wickiser and Jacque (Dave) Roese, daughter in law, Barbara Cordle, grandchildren, Josh (Carrie) Ohlinger, Zach (Jacqueline) Taylor, Bailey Taylor, Jacob (Mimi) Wickiser, Jodi (Jim) Archer, Grant Cordle and Evan Cordle, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, other family and friends. Friends may call at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME, 2693 W. Broad St., Friday, March 7, 2025 from 11-1 PM where service will follow at 1 PM. Pastor Tom Schwind officiating. Interment Sunset Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Ohio's Hospice and Health Care, 779 London Ave., Marysville OH, 43040, in her name.
