Erma Jean Felix, age 83, of Bastrop County, Texas, peacefully departed this life on September 20, 2025. She was born on November 12, 1941, in the Center Union Community of Bastrop County, Texas, to the late Daniel A. Hardeman and Beulah Carr Hardeman. Erma was the fifth of eight children. She attended and graduated from the Smithville Independent School District. On October 4, 1960, Erma united in holy matrimony with Jimmie James Felix in Bastrop County, Texas. To this union, four children were born: Sandra Dee Felix, Yvette Felix, Jeanette Felix, and Jimmy James Felix, Jr. Erma retired from the State of Texas with over 25 years of service. Erma lived a life filled with family, faith, and love. She will be remembered for her strength, kindness, and devotion to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Erma was truly loved and will be missed by her family and friends.
