In his free time, Ernie enjoyed fishing, hunting, trap shooting, music, collecting guns, and watching football. He was a talented musician and played the guitar, which he taught himself. He enjoyed spending time with his family and you knew his love by the nicknames he gave to each of us. He was quick-witted and had a great sense of humor.
