Ernest Danger Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by All Veterans Funeral & Cremation - Colorado Springs on Feb. 3, 2023.
SFC Ernest E. Danger, Jr. was born March 29, 1943, to Hazel L (White) and Ernest Danger, Sr. in Kewanee Illinois. He crossed over peacefully at home surrounded by love and family on January 18, 2023. He graduated high school in Wyoming, Il in 1961. Afterward, he joined the Army and proudly served his country. Over the years he worked other jobs and eventually went back to Reserve and Active Duty. His time in the military took him overseas many times. He took his commitment to his country very seriously with pride, integrity and honor. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, husband, father, stepfather, grandfather, and great grandfather. He worked very hard to teach the morals, work ethic, and amazing knowledge needed to live a fulfilled life, regardless of how hard things got in life. He loved to make people laugh and had an astounding sense of humor that was loved by so many. He loved his family, animals, the outdoors, target and competition shooting at the range, as well as collecting knives. You very seldom ever saw him without a book, or two, ore even three at a time.
He was preceded by his parents, Ernest and Hazel Danger Sr.; his wife and love of his life, Ann Danger, and his daughter, Tracy Konapka.
He is survived by his sisters, Margo Danger and Marsha Danger; his daughters, Amy Danger, Alesia (Lisa) Gillam, Aquilla (Lynn) Zerbonia and Dora Gunn; and his son, Troy Modesitt; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a nephew, Cody Lanham, niece, Ashley Parker and grandnephew, Parker.
He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and being part of his life. Thank you for all the love and integrity you brought into this world. They broke the mold with you sir!
