ERNEST FRANCOIS Obituary
Ernest Francois entered eternal rest on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the age of 79. He was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Westwego, LA. Ernest was a former employee with Herbert Wallace Fire Station as Chief. Former husband of Madeline Thirunavukarasu. Beloved father Floria, Kathy, and Shunell Francois, and the late Ernest Francois, Jr. Grandfather of Karris Brent, Sr., Devon, Akara, Ernest, Kentrell, Sr., Shante Francois, and Tyrese Smith. Son of the late Eugene, Sr. and Cecile Francois. Brother of Wilfred, Byron, and Kevin Francois, and the late Vivian, Eugene, Jr., and Wallace Francois. Brother in law of Nora and Chiquita Francois, also survived by 13 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, LA on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 11:00a.m. Pastor Michael Matthews officiating.
