Ernest Gebhardt Obituary
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Ernest (Ernie) R. Gebhardt on March 8, 2025 at the age of 75.
Ernie is survived by his two sons, Michael Gebhardt (Kris Gebhardt) and Joshua Gebhardt; his grandchildren, Rick Linke, Andrew Looney, Kaitlyn Gebhardt and Alexis Gebhardt. Ernie is also survived by his ex-wife/friend Linda Varnado and his best friend of 50+ years, Rodney Richards.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Richard Gebhardt, and his brothers, Fred Gebhardt and Michael Gebhardt.
Ernie lived in Mena for approximately 45 years and worked as a printer at the Mena Star. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing and camping in his beloved Ouachita.
A celebration of life will be held later in the summer.
