Hendersonville - Ernest "Brad" Bradley Rollins, 47, passed away on August 20, 2025. Brad was born on August 10, 1978, in Transylvania County to Ernest and Rose Rollins.

In 2002, Brad married Vanessa, and together they were blessed with one child, Matteo Rollins. Brad loved his child deeply and was endlessly proud.

Those who were fortunate enough to know Brad knew that you didn't just have a friend in him-you had a brother. He was known for his sharp wit and dark sense of humor, which he enjoyed sharing with those closest to him. His good friend, Derrick Surrett, captured it best:

"He was our own personal Andy Kaufman. He loved a good joke, and half the time, he wasn't too concerned about whether or not you found it funny. If he thought the joke was hilarious-especially if it was a little awkward or even offensive-then that was enough for him."

Brad is survived by his loving wife, Vanessa Rollins; their child, Matteo Rollins; his siblings Laurie (Jack) Watson of Lake Toxaway, NC, and George (Pam) Rollins of North Myrtle Beach, SC; as well as nieces and nephews Dillan (Sara) Rollins, Ashley Rollins, Dani Rollins, Millie Rollins, Brittany (Korbin) McDonald, and Brendan Kurtz.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Rose Rollins, and his brother, Larry Rollins.

Brad will be remembered for his humor, loyalty, and the love he had for his family and friends. His memory will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life is planned for Monday, September 1, 3:00-5:00 PM at Ecusta Brewing Company, 451 Ecusta Rd, Brevard NC. Let's gather together to share stories, raise a glass, and honor him in the way he would have wanted-surrounded by friends, family, laughter and love.
