ERNESTINE CASTON

Ms. Ernestine was a dedicated mother and spouse. She was preceded in life by her father, mother, four sisters, and one brother, the father of her children, her daughters, her son, two grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. She was survived by her daughters. She was the grandmother of 14, the great grandmother of 25, the great great grandmother of 15. She was a strong willed, self-sufficient woman who believed in and devoted her life to God and raising her family on good values, self-respect and a solid work ethic. She led by example. Her primary goal was to teach her family how to become responsible adults. She was a retiree and a member of Household of Faith Church. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe Street, Gretna, LA on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the parlor.
