A native of Laredo, Texas, a daughter of the late John Vitales and Louisa Spinoza; she was a retired office clerk and member of Greer First Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Marion Stephens of the home, and Bonnie Stephens of Greer; three sons, Adolph Stephens of Raleigh, North Carolina, Roy Stephens of Jacksonville, North Carolina and Edgar Stephens of Greenville, South Carolina; one sister, Rosie Vitales of Mexico; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
The family will be at their respective homes.
