Ervin Milton Watson

Ervin Milton Watson, 80, of Elkton, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024, in Harrisonburg. Mr. Watson was born January 30, 1944 in Page County, Va and was the son of the late Floyd T. and Laura Meadows Watson.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-son, Jeff Ritchie; a brother, Lynwood Watson; sisters, Mozella Jewell and Beatrice Eppard.
Ervin loved to play cards and pool. He was a farmer and loved to raise roosters and cattle. He was a mason and had worked for Nielsen Construction for a number of years. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Mr. Watson is survived by his wife, Thelma Eutsler Watson; sons, Michael Watson and wife, Linda, Steven Watson and wife Debbie, Joe Watson and wife, Wendy; step-son, Ralph Ritchie, Jr. and wife, Debbie; daughter, Kim Dalton and husband, Dink; step-daughter, Deborah Campbell and husband, Steve; brothers, Wayne Watson, Curtis Watson; sister, Delma Meadows; 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 11 nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Brother Derrick Jones and Brother Tony Dovel officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens near Harrisonburg.
Visitation will be 1 to 2 p.m., Monday, April 29, 2024, at the funeral home prior to the service.
