Estella (Brosh) Zavadil was born on January 31, 1944 in Glenwood, Minnesota to Mike and Myrtle (Hippe) Brosh. She grew up on the farm and went to grade school in Lowry, Minnesota before attending high school in Glenwood and graduating in 1962.
Estella was united in marriage to Gaylen Zavadil on September 5, 1966 at St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church. They moved to the Zavadil family farm in Alexandria where they welcomed their three children: Michael, Emmy, and Monty. Estella worked at the Alex Clinic in payroll beginning in 1965 and retired in 2001.
Estella was known for sharing her delicious cookies that she baked in her magic kitchen and for her humor and quick wit. She loved her children and grandchildren and attended many of their performances, events and celebrations. Estella enjoyed traveling around the world and taking many bus tours especially to her favorite place Branson, Missouri. Her greatest love and best friend was her sweetheart Gaylen. They were married for 44 years before his passing in 2011. Her family takes great comfort in knowing that Gaylen greeted her in Heaven and they are together again.
Estella is survived by her three children Michael (Laura) Zavadil of Rockford, Michigan, Emmy (Joe) Foster of Rosemount, Minnesota, and Monty (Jean) Zavadil of Silver Bay, Minnesota. She treasured her eight grandchildren Zachary, Matthew, and Samantha Zavadil; Mitchell (Kennedi) and Jake Foster; Alvin, Abigail, and Adeline Zavadil.
