Esther Artemiza Coronel

Esther Artemiza Coronel, loving mother and devoted daughter, passed away on June 9, 2024, at the age of 47. Known for her strong will, confidence, and love for her family, 

Esther, born in Bellflower, California, on July 20, 1976, found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from savoring a cold Coca-Cola to cheering on the Las Vegas Raiders. Her love for exploring the countryside on drives and spending quality time with loved ones made her a cherished presence in the lives of many.

Esther is survived by her father, Ernest Salgado Coronel; her sister and adopted mother, Cathy Hernandez; children, Ernest Gilbert Coronel, John Matthew Coronel-Torres, Samantha Alecia Coronel, Jason Batista Coronel and Sophia Gemma Coronel Weeks; granddaughter, Alice Cheyenne Sanders as well as many other loving family and friends.

Esther is preceded in death by her biological mother, Angelina Alvarran Coronel. 

In memory of Esther, there will be a visitation at Croley Funeral Home in Hawkins, Texas from 6-8pm on Friday, June 14,2024. A Rosary will be held on Saturday June 15, 2024 starting at 9:20am with Mass to follow at 10am at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Holly Lake Ranch, Texas. Interment will follow at Holly Tree Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her legacy, reflecting on cherished memories.

Esther's impact on those around her will forever be remembered, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace, surrounded by the love and memories she has left behind.
