Esther Elizabeth Muthoni Thiongo, 26, entered into the promise of eternal life on Saturday, May 24, 2025, joining her beloved mother, Gladys Njeri, in eternal rest.
Born in Nairobi, Kenya, Esther was the firstborn daughter of the late Gladys Njeri of Uthiru Village, Kiambu, and Anthony Karina of Blue Valley Estate, Nyeri. She moved to the United States at the age of three and was raised in Kennesaw and Acworth, GA alongside her two younger sisters, Sandra and Lisa.
A graduate of North Cobb High School, Esther was known for her vibrant spirit, strong faith, and love for dance. She performed at school and community events, proudly sharing her Kenyan heritage and inspiring others through her creativity. She faced life with quiet strength, even through the loss of her mother and her own health challenges, including a diabetes diagnosis in her early twenties.
Esther is survived by her father, Anthony Karina; sisters, Sandra and Lisa Thiongo; and a wide circle of dear friends and family who loved her deeply. She radiated joy, brought light wherever she went, and was effortlessly easy to love. Her faith was strong, her love was deep, and her presence was a gift to everyone who knew her.
Until we meet again, may Esther’s beautiful soul rest in eternal peace.
