Ethan Gregory Coston

Our beloved son Ethan Gregory Coston passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, December 16th. He was born in Norman, Oklahoma on April 23rd, 2001, and moved with his family to Des Moines, Iowa in 2005 where he grew up and attended Des Moines Public Schools and Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC). A devoted Hawkeye fan, he moved to Iowa City and attended the University of Iowa. Ethan was a beautiful soul filled with passionate ideas and deep values for how people should treat one another; a loving and kind young man who displayed the virtues he spoke so adamantly about. Following his dreams, he moved to Oklahoma City this past summer to be close to his favorite sports team, the Oklahoma City Thunder. Ethan was a lover of music, sports, art, photography, a good haircut and designer clothing. He was always the best dressed man in the room. He will be deeply missed by his mother Kimberly, his brother Bradley, Grandpa Vern Coston, and the entire Goldsberry and Coston clan. He was preceded in death by his father Chris who just recently passed and both of his grandmothers Sarah Coston and Linda Goldsberry as well as grandfather Carl Goldsberry. He was a devoted son and friend and a light in our world. His memory will be cherished in our hearts forever.
