Ethan J. Huff, 21, of Sherrodsville, died Sunday, December 11, 2022, from injuries he sustained as a result of an ATV accident.
Born in Dover, he was the son of George "Joe" and Kimberly A. (Huff) Huff, with whom he resided. A 2020 graduate of Claymont High School and Buckeye Career Center, Ethan was employed in the Chassis Assembly Department of Battle Motors at New Philadelphia.
Ethan loved spending time with his family and friends, but it is the outdoors where he longed to be the most. Every chance he could, he would choose to be outside in the woods or on the water hunting or fishing. Ethan loved all types of hunting, however deer hunting and duck hunting were his favorites. Always with his faithful hunting companion, Oakley, who was always by his side.
In addition to his parents, Ethan is survived by his four brothers, Cody Huff, Zach Dayton, Brock Dayton and Justin Huff; his maternal grandmother, Karen Huff; his paternal grandmother, Betty Huff; his niece, Jerzzi Dayton; his aunt and uncle, Ed and Shelly Huff; his aunt, Tonya Huff; and his Godparents, Jeff and Karlie Hoover, and numerous cousins.
Ethan is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Huff and his paternal grandfather, Ed Huff.
Friends and family are invited to call on Friday evening, December 16, 2022 from 5 to 8 PM in the Linn-Hert-Geib Funeral Home at New Philadelphia. Following the visitation, cremation care will be provided and the family will host a celebration of Ethan's life on a date and time that is yet to be determined.
