Chesen, Ethel, nee: Winterfield, age 100, of River Vale, passed on Monday July 1, 2024. Born in Jersey City and formerly of Fort Lee. Loving mother to Alan Chesen and his wife Judy. Cherished grandmother to Jonah. Also survived by her beloved sister Sandra Daiboch and survived also by nieces and nephews. Devoted wife to the late David Chesen who were happily married for 72 years. Predeceased by her cherished parents Leo and Helen Winterfield and by her adored son Jeffrey Chesen. Ethel was also predeceased by her beloved sister Paula (Mervin) Goldberg, her beloved in-laws, Gertrude and Morris Chesen and her loving brother-in-law Howard Daiboch and sister- in -law Doris Rostoker (Bill).
There will be a Chapel service on Sunday July 7th at 1030am at Eden Memorial Chapels in Fort Lee,NJ. Burial will take place immediately after the chapel service at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge,NJ. For more information, edenmemorial.com or call 201-947-3336
