Ethel Land Williams, 75, passed away, February 28, 2024, at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Ethel Williams was born on June 29, 1948, to (the late) Dorothy Anna Blackwell and James Earl Land in Granville County, North Carolina.
Mrs. Ethel Williams was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Walter “Wayne” Williams; son, Franklin Wayne Williams (Patricia); daughters, Torino Faye Chappell, Angela Michelle Roten; two sisters, Barbara Land Blume and Mary Harper; brother, Lawrence Henry Land; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Williams was a lifetime resident of Durham, North Carolina. Ethel was a member of the First Pentecostal Church of Durham.
Pallbearers will be Roger Dale Hatcher, Wes Andrew Davis, Randy Wilson, Nathan Greenhill, Michael Vavrick, and Walter Greenhill.
Family will receive friends 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday, March 7, 2024 at Hudson Funeral Home, 211 S. Miami Blvd Durham NC. A graveside service will be held Friday at 11:00am at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 3712 Cheek Rd Durham NC.
Flowers are Acceptable.
