Eugene Christadore Obituary
Eugene Christadore of New Haven died peacefully April 17, 2021 in Arden House. He was the husband of Florence Redenti Christadore. Gene was born in Willimantic on October 12, 1932 to the late Joseph and Josephine DelMonte Christadore and served his country with honor in US Air Force. After being honorably discharged, Gene worked as supervisor for CL&P and then worked in the security dept. at Windham Hospital. He enjoyed horse racing and was a life member of the Elks Club, VFW and the American Legion. He is the father of Sandy (Charlie) Chrismon, Eugene (Wanda) and Patrick (Laurie) Christadore, stepfather of Luann (Danny) Scarpellino; brother of Yolanda Christadore, Eleanor Racette, Fred Christadore and the late Mary Wojick, Jack, Joseph, Charlie and Dominic Christadore. Grandfather of Sean Christadore, Zachary Snow, Angelica (Brian) Demers, Francesca Pisano and Christina Scarpellino and great grandfather to Dominic and Isabella Demers.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday morning at 9am in St. Michael Church. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Willimantic. Masks and social distancing are mandatory at services. The Iovanne Funeral Home, Inc. is in care of Gene's arrangements. Share a memory and sign his guest book online at www.iovanne.com.

Dear Flo, Sorry. Sorry for not being aware, sorry for your sadness. A kind , quiet man, who always was amused when he saw me. A good, no great man. It's the men who will do the harder things, being responsible, steady, secure, and there for the few they decide to choose to be close to them. The special people. Sounds simple, but it take the truly strong, smart, reliable, responsible, and yes, great, men who choose the quiet path for love. Praying for your peace, Joe.
