Eugene T. Courson

Eugene T. Courson, age 85, a resident of Ringgold, Georgia passed away to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 13, 2024. He was born in Baxley, Ga to the late Gaston and Okella Courson. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by 6 sisters and 1 brother. He was a member of Redemption Point Church of God. He retired from the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Local 26 after 36 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog Gracie, woodworking and watching westerns.
Gene is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Courson, with whom he was married to for 41 years; 1 son, Rusty (Jerrie) Courson and 2 daughters, Suzanne (Stan) Johnson and Rhonda Nevills; 2 step-children Darryl (Karri) Harper and Travis (Janeen) Harper; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, at 10 am June 19, 2024 at Anderson-Catoosa Memorial Gardens officiated by Pastor Travis Ballinger of Redemption Point Church of God.
