On September 14, 2025, Eugene Craft passed away peacefully at age 88 to rest in his eternal home. He was the son of the late Nelson & Andrea (Webster) Craft. Eugene was the four children. Many people including his grandchildren, considered him the hardest working man they've know.
Eugene is survived by two siblings, Donald Craft and Nancy Jones.
Eugene was the father of Gene (Tonia) Craft, Debbie Parsons and Bridget (Keith) Ottersbach. He was blessed with a special friend, Vernon Lyons, whom he considered family. He blessed with six grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was a member of the Dry Fork Holiness Church.
In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by Shirley Craft (wife), Robert "Mitchell" Craft (son), Gregory "Ike" Parsons (son-in-law), Olga Andrew (sister-in-law), Therman Powell (brother-in-law), and Phyllis Johnson (sister-in-law)
Eugene was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He would stop working on something in his garage to talk with family and friends. His family was the most important part of his life and often would tear up when talking about them. When he was not laying brick, he would be found on the lake fishing.
Graveside services will be 12 Noon Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Cook Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Wagers and Bro. Darrell Combs officiating. Pallbearers: Dace Parsons, Derrick Craft, Tim Coyle, Robert "Robbie" MacInnis, Keith Ottersbach and Vernon Lyons.
A visitation will begin at 10 A.M at the cemetery.
