Eugene was a loving father and farmed with his wife on his family farm in the Town of Auburndale, while raising his family. He also worked on construction for many years before retiring. He was so very proud of his family and his family farm. He was of strong faith and was a devout Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Wanda, sister, Lorraine Hamus, daughter-in-law, Linda Hamus, brother-in-law, Irving Heyer, brother-in-law Raymond Bauer, brothers and sisters-in-law, Jerry & Nancy Zygarlicke, William (Billy) & Eugene Zygarlicke, Mary Ann and Ted Poplawski.
Our Dad was grateful for his 5 daughters Kay, Marie, Ann, Jane and Mary and son-in-law Paul Holland, for all the time and visits that they had given him when he was at Wells Nature View. Mom, your 5 daughters Kay, Marie, Ann, Jane and Mary and one son-in law Paul Holland, we kept your promise that we would take care of Dad until he could be with you again. We would also like to thank our private night caregiver Deb Prior for giving both our parents the loving care they deserve. We would also like to thank Ashley Hetchler one of Dad's caregiver for all the love & care she had given our Dad. He always had a smile on his face when they arrived. His famous sayings to his 5 daughters was we would say love you Dad, he would reply here to and careful now. Some of Dad's other favorite says were: Buying something you don't need with the money you don't have to impress people you don't like. Don't take any wooden nickels or kill any dead snakes. "something just ain't right", "good enough", "What's new". We love you Dad. Rest in Peace with Mom.
