Mr. Eugene Brown Jackson, Jr., 64, of Peoria, IL, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at his residence.
Eugene was born on April 9, 1961 in Jackson, MS to Maxiline Jackson and Eugene Brown.
Eugene worked various jobs at restaurants over the years. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, lawn care and especially had a great joy for doing laundry. Eugene was a comedian. He also enjoyed listening to music. He loved his family but his grandchildren was his life.
Eugene leaves to cherish his precious memories, his life partner, Crystal Brownlow of Peoria, IL; children, Damarcus Jackson of Memphis, Adrian Jackson, Andreas Jackson, Mario Brownlow, Maurice Brownlow and Odis Jackson all of Peoria, IL; Tiffany Pullen, Tat'Iana Jackson and Taylor Jackson all of Peoria, IL, Latisha Jackson of Memphis, TN and Ashley Brownlow of Texas; one brother, Jimmie Brown of Peoria, IL; two uncles, Ronnie (Diane) Smith of Jackson, MS and Alvin Smith of Peoria, IL and a host of grand and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Sharon Brown and his grandson, Demariay Moss.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Zion Baptist Church with a visitation prior at 10 am. Pastor Samuel Duren will officiate.
